The Monster Who came to the Carnival - from Mrs. Magdos' 1st grade in League City, TX

Once upon a time, there was a monster that came to a school carnival. He stole all the animals from the petting zoo because he wanted to keep the animals as pets. So the monster put all the animals in the back of his truck to take home. The monster decided to feed his new pets. So he went into the cafeteria to get some food. He picked up watermelons, bananas and grapes to give to his new pets. The pets did not like the food the monster gave them. So the monster decided to go buy some carnival tickets to buy some different food for his new pets.

As the monster went to the ticket booth the people selling the tickets got scared. The monster told the people he was sorry for scaring them. The principal said that it was all right and she asked him what he wanted. The monster said he wanted some tickets so he coud get food for his pets. So they give the monster some tickets. The monster then went back to the cafeteria to buy some different food with his tickets. He bought cookies and some cotton candy for his pets. The monster took the food back to his truck to feed the animals. The animals still didn't like the food he gave them. So the monster decided to give the animals back to the petting zoo. He felt sad because he missed the animals.

So then the monster decided to work at the carnival. He looked around and decided to work at the silly string booth. That's when another monster showed up at the carnival and went to the silly string booth to buy silly string. The monsters knew each other and were good friends. So then both monsters are working at the silly string booth. After a while they decided to go climb the rock wall. The monsters were too big and couldn't climb the rock wall. So they climbed the school building instead. They had fun climbing the school. While they were on top of the school they saw the basketball booth. So they climbed down and went to play basketball. They challenged the principal to a game of basketball.

So the principal got a teacher to play on her team against the monsters. The monsters won the challenge and a trophy. The monsters had so much fun at the basketball booth they decided to go buy more tickets to play more games. The monsters first went to the water war booth. The monsters did not like getting wet so they went to the carousel. The carousel spun too fast so they went to the bumper boats booth. They did not like bumping into each other so they decided to go to the petting zoo to pet the animals. After visiting the animals the monsters wanted to play basketball again. But when they got to the booth they did not have any more tickets. So they got in their truck and drove home. They put the trophy in the closet and asked their mom to cook them dinner. They had so much fun that they decided to visit the carnival every year.

When my partner and I were working we were working on legs so the monster that our class was making could have legs. My partner and I had to make ten legs. My partner's name is Irelle. It is fun to work with her because she is very funny and nice. We got to play with hair, glue, scissors and paper. We were sticky after we were done. Then the First thing we did after we got done was washed our hands and then we helped the ten legs on the monster with some our classmates. After everything was on the monster and dry the monster looked REALLY REALLY GOOD !! My partner and I also made knees to put on the legs. The knees were just perfect. Everything turned out just perfect because of good work and because we all worked as a team. by Chelsea

Monster Gas By Shaq
Warnning do not attempt. I saw the monster and I noticed that he had two heads, and his feet looked like water melons. Something strange happened When I said to the monster. "You got eyeballs hanging out of your nose." The monster said hello, and I said "how are are you?" So I went home and opened a can of baked beans. And got a pan. After the monster ate the beans, the monster passed gas.

By Andy -- When I saw the monster and I noticed that he was almost as big as Godzila but not as scary and tough as Godzila! Something strange happend when I said "what ya doin buddy?" Then he said "nope". He started to go WILD! So I opend a can of butter beans and grabbed a spoon and started to fling them at him and he got MAD! Finally I found my bike and started to pedal and I got out of there in a flash!

Daija -- I saw the monster and I noticed that it was hanginng on the wall and it was done with blue cards by the parts then I yelled ''he's alive!''Something strange happend when I said to the monster,''your are evil and mean!''Then `said ''Yep I am evil and mean so this is the part when you ranaway.'' Then I said''Ahhhhhhh!'' I was shivering. So I opened a can of prunes and grabbed a small spoon and I started flinging the prunes right into his eyeballs. Then his eyeballs ate the prunes. I said ''that was weird''. Finally' the phone rang and the monster said ''I'm in your house so look out or I'll pop out behind you and throw you in the stove so I will eat you so you will be quiet while you are in my stomach.'' I tried to smack his head off but instead he had dirhrea coming out of his eyeballs. Then I thought how did he get dirhrea out of his eyes oh when I opened a can of prunes and grabbed a spoon I started to fling the prunes and the eyeballs ate the prunes so the eyes had to use the bathroom.''ewwwwww!''

By DIANNA -- I saw the monster and I notice that.... He had 2 (two) different size heads. Something strange happened when I said some thing to the monster. He stared to put on make up. Then the monster said, "I want to put on make up some more." So I opened the box of make up that I ordered for him to eat. Finally the phone rang and the monster ran up to it, and said don't you see I'm putting on make up. The boy said, " but I can't see you!!!!!!!"

Monster kisses by Joey -- I saw the monster and I noticed that it was big and mean. Something stange happened when I said to the monster, "your scary". Then the monster said," I'm going to kiss you". Then I said," gross". So I opened a tube of lipstick and grabbed a small makeup kit. Finally, the phone rang and the monster took the lipstick and put some on then it kissed everyone until the phone stopped ringing.

by Bra'don -- I saw the monster and I noticed that it was big. Something strange happend when I said, you are ugly". The monster said," will you be my friend?" I said, "yes". So I opened a can of soda and grabbed a small glass. Finally the phone rang and the monster said," Who is this!!"

Eli's Monster thoughts -- I saw the monster and I noticed that he had a star shaped head and a triangle shaped head. Something happened when I said to the monster "you are weird". The monster said "you are too!" Then I said "you are pink"!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I grabbed a plastic grape shooter and a few bags of grapes and then started to shoot grapes at him and I said eat grapes weirdo!! Finally the phone rang and the monster ran off!!!

by Jeremy -- I saw the monster and I noticed he was spitting out fire! Something strange happened when I said to the monster,"BOOOOO!" The monster said, "Roar!" Then I said," aaaaahh!" So I opened a can of tuna and grabbed a small fork. Finally, the phone rang, and the monster ran in circles. Then I threw a empty tuna can at his head.

I saw the monster and I noticed that it was eating our teacher! Something strange happened when I siad,"put my teacher down now". The monster said,"your teacher made me mad when he put me together", then I said,"Huh?". So I opened a can of soda and grabbed a small snack. Then the phone rang and the monster jumped out of the window and I answered the phone.

The monster said " AAHH." Then I said "RRRR." So I opened a package of bologna and started throwing it at him like a frizbee. I saw the monster and I noticed that he had weird heads and a weird nose. Something strange happend when I said to the monster " I said that the monster was not pretty for the dance." The monster said," I do too look pretty for the dance." Then I said," no you do not look pretty for the dance." So I opened a can of chill and grabbed a small spoon. Finally, The phone rang and the monster got chili on him. He got the phone and the person said "are you ready for the dance ?" and the monster said " Boo" and the person said "ha ha ha."

By Dakota -- I saw the monster and I noticed that he was big and mean and that he was going to crush our bones!!! Something strange happened when I said to the monster " hi big guy." Then the monster said "Hi little girl I'm going to crush you. " I said," oh no the monster is going to crush me!" So I opened a small can of peas and I threw it at the monster. Finally the phone rang and the monster said " now I am really going to crush you!"

I saw the monster and I noticed that it had a spider crawling on its arm. Something strang happened when I said to the monster, " Why is there a spider crawling on your arm"? The monster said," because it is my pet.Then I said," Ewwwwwwwwwww how can someone have a pet spider. So I opened a bottle of water and a small rabbit and the monster drank the water and pinched the rabbit. Finally the phone rang and the monster ran away screaming......... Help me Help me I'm being chased by a girl with a bottle of water and a rabbit.

The MONSTER by Taylor -- I saw a monster and I noticed that ........it had worts and scars all over it and I noticed that it had tattooos, and HAIRY FEET. something strange happen when I said to the monster, " Will you dance for me"? The monster started dancing. The monster asked me to dance with him and put on some MUSIC ". I whispred to myself," What a SILLY MONSTER". so I opened a BOTTLE OF COKE and grabbed a few small glasses. Finally, the phone rang and the monster picked up the phone and said," who is this"? someone on the other line said," No who is this"? " This is a monster"!!! The person on the other line said ," HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!! A MONSTER!!!!!!

Haley's Monster Story
I saw the monster and I notised that it had a lot of worts and scars on it. Something strange happend when I said"whats up" The monster said"Do you have a friend"Then I said"of cors". So I opend a can of soup and I threw it at him. Finilly the phone rang and the monster picked it up and I said, "NO" and he said "YES" and he said "WHAT'S UP DOCK? " That person was Dakota and he hung up because she said "WHO IS THIS?"

I saw the monster and I noticed that it was very tall. It had two heads. Something stange happend when I Said to the monster "I'm not scared of you!" So I grabbed a bag of chips and a small bowl of dip. Finally the phone rang and the monster FELL DOWN AND STARES SCREAMING! THe person on the phone was my friend he wanted to see if I could stay the night then I told monster go away you weardo! HE was loud! HE ran to Arizona!

JuWan -- I saw the monster and I noticed that it was trying to eat my mom. Something strange happend when I said to the monster ''put em up put em up.'' The monster said ''I will eat you for lunch.'' Then I said ''o no you won't.'' So I opend a can of prunes and made him eat the whole can. Finally the phone rang and the monster answered it and he skreamed," I know what you did last summer."

Jessica -- I saw the monster and I noticed that he had a long nose. Something strange happened when I said to the monster ," hello." The monster said ," boo." Then I said ,"what?" So I opened a can of fruit and grabbed a small spoon and I ate them. Finllily, the phone rang and the monster answered the phone and said," WHAT!!"

Something strange happend when I said to the monster " Leave my teacher a lone.!"The monster said," your teacher is my lunch." So I opend a can of slime and grabbed a small bowl. The phone rang and the monster dropped the teacher. Then the teacher ran and ran then the monster lefted.

Steven -- When I looked at monster, I noticed it is a cute monster. The monster said, "Boo !¨ And I said to the monster, "Time to sleep in oyster bed!" There was a knock on the door and the monster hide in the bed, because he was scared. I was so hungry so I ate the monster, but the monster wanted to eat hamburger. The monster finished eating and was watching cartoon on TV. I said to the monster, "Are you a baby or adult?¨

Julia -- When I looked at the monster, I noticed........ That monster lookd like an ant! The monster said "Boo!" and I said to the monster "What are you doing here?" There was a knock on the door, and the monster was very hungry and tired. I was getting hungry so I ate some french frize, but the monster wanted to eat lobster and steak. The monster finished eating and was watching food channel on T.V. I said to the monster "Can you go home please?"

Sharon -- When I look at the monster I noticed it looked funny. The monster said: hello. There was a knock on the door , the monster said: BOO. I was getting hungry so I ate a cake, but the monster wanted to eat it too. The monster finished eating and was watching POWER PUFF GIRLS.

Sophia -- When I looked at the monster, I noticed it looked very real and I belived he could talk! The monster opened his big and green mouth and said : "Wow! Are you a witch? I didn't tell you anything about that but you know I can talk !" So I said to the monster calmly: "Yes, I 'm a witch from Cambridge Magic School . So, I know everything about everyone here." Then there was a knock on the door and the monster was so terrified and he got very hungry. I was getting hungry too ,so I ate some "power sandwiches" from my mother, but the monster wanted some of mine, too! The monster finished eating and was watching funny cartoons on TV. I said to the monster, "O.K. Be a good monster. It's time to go to bed." And he went to sleep. ZZZZZZ........ Then I heard my mother screaming in my ears and said "Wake up! Little pig! You will be late for school!"

  Danny -- When I look at the monster, I noticed it is very ugly. The monster said, "Boo!" And I said to the monster "Hello." There was a knock in the door and the monster was laughing. I was getting hungry so I ate a hamburger, but the monster wanted to eat hamburger too. The monster finished eating and was watching movie on TV. I said to the monster, "What kind of movie do you like??"

Fanny -- When I looked the monster. I noticed that is very good. And a little scary. Because the body looks likes very big and the legs looks likes ten worms! The monster looks fun! The monster said "Hey!" And his sound heard like a little girl. I said "you are not funny. "There was a knock on the door. The monster knock the door! I was getting hungry. So I ate one hot dog. But the monster wanted to eat ten hembergers.The monster finished eating and watching cartoon on TV. I said "Oh! I can not think that is true!"

Grace -- When I looked at the monster, I noticed it was funny! The monster said," Boo!!" and I said to the monster," shut up!''. There was a knock on the door and the monster screamed at me!! I was getting hungry so I ate a hamburger but, the monster wanted to eat the hamburger too!! The monster finished eating and were watching cartoon on T.V. I said to monster,"are you still hungry??''

Jessie -- When I looked at the monster , I noticed it was ugly. The monster said,"Look at me! I'm so beautiful!" And I said to the monster,"No! You're ugly,look at the mirror if you don't believe me." There was a knock on the door and the monster yelled,"Shame on you! Do you know I'm sleeping?" I was getting hungry so I ate some friedrice, but the monster wanted to eat dinosaurs. The monster finished eating and was watching cartoon on TV, I said to the monster,"I also like to watch this channel on TV, we like the same channel, we can be friends!"

Sandy -- When I looked at the Monster,I noticed it was really ugly. The monster said,"Hey! You little tiny girl! "And I said to the monster,"No! I'm not a little tiny girl! I'm bigger than you! "There was a knock on the door,the monster said,"What that? " I said," It was my mom, I'll tell my mom that you are in my room." I was getting hungry so I ate an apple,but the monster want to eat a grape. The monster finished eating and was watching cartoons on the TV. I said to the monster,"Stop watching cartoons! "

Vicki -- When I looked at the monster I noteced it had blood all over it's eyes. The monster said ''help......me...''And I said ''pardon.'' There was a knock on the door and the monster jumped . I was getting hungry so I ate my apple,but the monster wanted to eat a bottle of eyedrops. The monster finished eating and was watching cartoons on t.v . I said to the monster,''no wonder your eyes are bleeding!!''

Catherine -- When I looked at the monster, I noticed it is very ugly. Themonster said," where am I!"And I said to the monster, "You are in your room." There was a knock on the door and the monster went to scared people. I was getting hungry I atesome cake, but the monster wanted t o eat the box. The monster finshed eating and watching cartoons on tv. I said to the monster, "What are you doing?"

??? from Taiwan -- When I looked at monster, I noticed it is funny.The monster said," I will eat you!" and I said to the monster," OK!" There was a knock on the door and the monster said," Hello!" I was getting hungry so I ate monster, but the monster wanted to eat me! The monster finished eating and was watch a movie" YOU ARE A DOG!" on TV. I said to the moster," are you a dog?"

Emily -- When I looked at the monster . I noticed that he was so ugly and smelly. The monster said ,"I am hungry." And I said to the monster , "I'm hungry too. I want to eat monster. "There was a knock on the door and the monster broke the door into pieces. I was getting hungry so I ate some cheese , but the monster wanted to eat the cheese too. He grab all of the cheese and eat them.The monster finished eating and was watching monster programs on TV. I said to the monster , "I'm still hungry. Let me eat you !"

Belle -- I was getting hungry and ate the monster's favarite food. The monster wanted to eat it, too. We had a little fight therefore. It ended by my giving the monster a chocolate bar. The monster finished eating and was watching bloody films on TV. I said to the monster, "Why won't you monsters ever stop doing things like eating someone up?" The monster glared at me and then took me by the coller and threw me out of the house. Thanks God I landed on a soft bush!

Masashige -- When I looked at the monster, I noticed it's funny ! The monster said, " boo" ! and I said to the monster, "hey" ! There was a knock on the door and the monster ate the door. I was getting hungry so I ate an apple, but the monster wanted to eat my apple The monster finished eating and was watching CNN on TV I said to the monster, "Get out of here for one second" !

Roger -- When I looked at the monster, I noticed is funny. The monster said, "Hi!" And I said to the monster, "You are a good monster." There was a knock on the door and the monster screamed. I was getting hungry so I ate some meat, but the monster wanted to eat blood. The monster finished eating and was watching cartoon on T.V. I said to the monster"what are you doing?"

Polly -- When I looked at the monster, I notice the monster is trying to be scary, but he can't, because, the monster is too colorful. The monster said," BOO!!! ".And I said to the monster," You're not scary at all. " There was a knock on the door and the monster came into my house. I was getting hungry so I ate an apple, but the monster wanted to eat meat. The monster finished eating and was watching TV. I looked at the monster and said,"Monster watching news? That does not make any sense! "

Julie -- When I look at the monster,I noticed funny. The monster said " Hello! " And I said to the monster" Hi ." There was a knock on the door and the monster open it. I was getting hungry so I ate some candy ,but the monster wanted to eat cookies. The monster finished eating and was watching cartoon on TV.I said to the monster " Are you happy? "

Melissa -- When I looked at the monster, I noticed that it was funny. The monster said" Boo", and I said to the monster" Hellow". There was a knock on the door, and the monster was scared! I was getting hungry, so I ate some fruit, but the monster wanted to eat a nother monster! The monster finished eating and was watching" THE RING" on T.V. I said to the monster" Can I go to the bathroom?"

Eileen -- When I looked at the monster, I noticed that this monster is funny! The monster said, "Hello!" And I said to the monster, "Trick or treat? Give me some candy! " There was a knock on the door and the monster fell on the floor! I was getting hungry so I ate an apple, but the monster wanted to eat books! The monster finished eating and was watching Cartoon on TV. I said to the monster, "Do you want to give me candy?"

Michael -- When I looked at Monster, I notice that it is strange and funny.The Monster said, "Hi!" And I said to the Monster, "Is anything wrong with eyes?" There was a knock on the door and the Monster knocked back. I was getting hungry so I ate some sandwitches, but the Monster wanted to eat me! The Monster finished eating and was watching a show on T.V.. I said to the Monster, "Can I get out of your stomache?"

Rita -- When looked at the monster,I noticed it is very funny.The monster said, ''BOO!''And I said to the monster, ''BE QUIET.'' There was a knock on the door and the monster cried. I was getting hungry so I ate a cake, but the monster wanted to eat the desk. The monster finished eating and was watching movie on T.V I said to the monster"Do you want to eat the chair?''

Vivien -- When I looked at the monster,I noticed it looks like peas with jellyfish feet.The monster said,"Hello! Fella!"And I said to the monster, "You're ugly,really ugly." There was a knock on the door and the monster fainted. I was getting hungry so I ate Mcdonald's, but the monster wanted to eat slime.The monster finished eating and was watching cartoons on T.V. I said to the monster,"That's Teletubbies,it's vary boring, okay?"

Tommy -- When I looked at monster, I noticed it is funny. The monster said," I will eat you!" and I said to the monster," OK!" There was a knock on the door and the monster said," Hello!" I was getting hungry so I ate monster, but the monster wanted to eat me!The monster finished eating and was watch a movie" YOU ARE A DOG!" on TV. I said to the moster," are you a dog?"

Arthur -- When I looked at the Monster I noticed it is a fish and have legs. The monster said "Wow!" I said to the monster "You scare me!" There was a knock on the door and the monster hit me. I was getting hungry so I want to eat the monster, but the monster wanted to eat me too! The monster finished eating and was watching cartoon on TV I said to the monster,"let me get out of your stomach." The monster said,"no way."

Yvonne -- When I looked at the monster, I noticed it is creepy. The monster said," Boo! What's your name?" And I said to the monster," Wow! I'm Yvonne!" There was a knock on the door and the monster sang a song. I was getting hungry, so I ate the last sandwich in my bag, but the monster wanted to eat a sandwich too! So I made one for it. The monster finished eating, and was watching cartoon on T.V. I said to the monster," I feel like I want to be a monster like you!"

Once upon a time a monster lived at EFS. One day it got tired of being stuck to a wall in the first grade classroom so it jumped off the wall. It wanted to go out for ice cream. It ran down the street to the Barber shop and yelled, "Gimme ice cream!" The Barber said, "We ran out of ice cream" and he gave the monster two colorful wigs instead. It had one wig for each head. Then it ran to the grocery store and scared all the customers away. It grabbed 12 boxes of popsicles, but started to eat the colorful wigs. It smashed all the popsicles in its electric blue hair and on its face. Somehow this made it super strong and it destroyed the whole grocery store. Now it went back to the barber shop for a haircut. It got two buzzcuts. It ran out on the highway and jumped on a bus and yelled, "Hey, get out of the way," to the driver. The monster started driving the bus and it was crashing into everyone.

By the time it got back to EFS, the monster fainted right in front of the school. It got hungry again, so it ate all the stars hanging in the first grade class. And then, the monster was hanging onto the string and its belly popped open, because it was so full. The star string broke and the creature fell to the ground and fainted again right on top of Ms. Gardon's desk. It climbed off and went BOOM, BOOM down the hall.It saw another room. It said, "Yummy," and ate all the food in the cafeteria. Then it looked down and realized that it didn't have any shoes and went into the lockers and got shoes for its ten legs. It ran in the gym and broke all the doors and one of the cafeteria ladies asked, "Do you need some help?" It got so angry that it said, "I'm going to take a plane and get the president." But the monster couldn't find a plane. So it got drinks and more drinks at the cafeteria. It emptied the cooler. It was crazy about shoes, so it took every single shoe in the school and everything in the lockers.

Then the monster went to a nearby school and stepped on it. It went back to the first grade room and right into the bathroom. It was flushed through the pipes right into the wall. The monster was trapped until the students got lots of drinks of water and it popped out through a hole in the ground. The whole class ran outside. The monster was going wild jumping on things and smashing things. All the first grade students formed a circle around it and begged it to come back and be calm. They hugged and tickled it until it collapsed and then they all carried it back to the wall where it was stuck and stayed for the rest of the year.

Once there was a monster who sat up on the wall in first grade. One night it came alive!!!! It jumped down and went to the principal's office. It tore up his room! It even sat on the principal's chair. Mr. Frome's chair broke! Next the monster went to the cafeteria. It ate all the food that was in the refrigerator. It even ate the dishes! Its stomach was really sore from all of that! After that the monster went to the library. It pulled all the books off the shelves and knocked the shelves down too! The last place the monster went was the gym. It took everything out of the equipment room. Then it played catch by bouncing the balls off the walls. The monster really liked that! It was tired. It walked down the halls and back to the first grade room. It climbed back on the wall and is still there now.

Stinky Maqhuzuqhuzu is the name of our monster. The whole of grade 4 got together to look at some of the names that the grade 4 monster participants have chosen and we voted for the best name. Stinky and Maqhuzuqhuzu got the most votes and we named him Stinky Maqhuzuqhuzu.

Why Stinky?
We all agreed that this monster has given us a terrible week of an unpleasant smell in the computer block even grade R was complaining about it. Grade R in some countries is known as Grade k. You could smell his presence miles away! Even an air freshener couldn't beat his smell…

Why Maqhuzuqhuzu?
This monster has lived in a forest for a long time and when it gets dark its very hard for him to see with his one eye and he bumps himself over the trees, rocks and hills. He is scared and very lumpy especially his star shaped head and 10 legs and feet. Maqhuzuqhuzu is a Zulu word which means bumpy bumpy in English.

I live in the farm with my parents. One day I saw something passing by my window it had a long strange nose and long teeth. I screamed for help but my big brother said I was just being silly like a baby then I kept quite. When it passed my window again, he was the one who screamed the loudest and even my parents didn’t know what it was. Then the monster screamed loud at me with a deep voice and said, “hallow child, do you know my name?” I said, “no mr I don’t know your name but my name is Phumi.” Then the monster said, “don’t even think about running away,” I was scared and his breath was very smelling and he looked dirty. I said your name must be ugly and then the monster did a very strange thing, he laughed loud until most of his teeth fell out and he was left with few teeth. My parents called the police and they took him away and that was the last time I saw Mr Ugly.

 
My friends and I were swimming in a river called Nsezi. Our parents told us not to swim in that river because it’s too close to the forest but my friends and I were not scared so we went anyway. Suddenly the water changed colour and it smelt. It was like a big wave was coming. We all run out of the water and waited behind the trees. My friends were shouting, “Yo, yo, maye nkosi yami, yehheni yini futhi lena (Oh, Oh my god, what is that?).” Big, long, ugly, lots of legs, big footed, green fungus animal came out of the water and roared like a lion. We first thought it was a cow but than cows don’t swim than we thought it must be the father of all crocodiles. When it roared, fleas came out of its mouth. The cows near by run so fast and it managed to swallow some of the goats. My friends and I couldn’t move and we were all crying. I will never forget the day in the river and we will never go back again. He should be called stinky or qhuzu (bumpy) or dinosaurs.

The monster likes to eat frogs, wors, meat and he likes to play with children and he looks like a rainbow with nice colours.

When I saw stinky near the shop, I felt dizzy my body was sweating. I had never seen anything with 10 big feet. It had fleas all over. It wasn’t easy taking a breath near him.

 
I’ve never seen such an animal; it’s a monster like the ones in e-TV. It’s very scary with its red eye. He’s scary like a lion. He looks like his going to eat me. Whenever I hear his big stamps shaking the ground I always run so fast to my brothers. He will never get me.

 
Stinky Maqhuzuqhuzu was playing tricks in the forest and I was laughing because of the way he looked, sang and danced. I wish he could play many tricks in the zoo because he is cleaver. I can wash him and brush his teeth. People will love him and they wont be afraid when he is clean.

 
This monster has a very short temper. It likes to hurt people even big people. It doesn’t have a good heart. It burns houses with its fire horn. It smells and it doesn’t fall easily. Even the police can’t catch him because his big, strong and burns forests and cars with fire.

 
One day I was walking on the streets and suddenly the monster was chasing me and I run and climbed the tree. It was no use because it shook the tree with its big hands and foot. I jumped from the tree and into my uncles car and the monster run after the car but the car was to fast.

 
Stinky came from a big rock by my house that he called his home. He grabbed my mother and dad and crunches them with his teeth. The neighbours called the police. The police came and tried to shake him but stinky swallowed all the bullets. Then the monster was very angry and let go of my parents and run back to the rock.

Hello! My name is Ludicrous. I was born on October 3, 2003. This is also my buddy Dylan's birthday! The first thing I remember is meeting my teacher Mrs. Minor. I was born on the third floor of Eugene Field school in Hannibal, Missouri. My favorite place in all the world is school because I want to get a good education! My first memory is waking up to see all the students in Mrs. Minor's class! My favorite place is hanging in the hallway on third floor and watching all the students walk by! Philip -- I made the necks. The monster has two heads. It has ten knees, legs, and feet. I hope we get to do it again in 5th grade. I think we will make a monster in 5th grade. I think we all did a great job making the monster. I think a good name for him is Nasty Nrok.

Marissia -- On the monster I helped put the elbows and ears on the monster. Philip did the neck. Russell did the nose. Krysta did the hair. Ben did the ears. Brittany R. did the eyes. Brittany B. did the lips. Sam did the teeth. Shelby and Kelsey did the body. Tori did the knees. Cody H. did the legs. Niga did the feet. Trinity did the toes. Renaye did the hands and Cody P. did the fingers. I want the monsters name to be UGLY.

Tori -- I did the knees! I want to do this again. I also helped Niga with the feet. I had to do crusty, scabby, scarred, wrinkly, hairy, and bony with fleas all over the knees. Niga's was ten diamond shaped 12 inches long, 10 inches wide, red , hairy. I Iiked this very much. I want the monsters name to be scary.

Kelsey -- I did the bellybutton. I created it with crusty mushrooms, red eyes balls, cold slimy fungus, hairy moles. I would name the monster creepy.

Austin -- I made the horns.They were furry and watery colored . They had to be like rams horns. They went on the head. I think his name should be Rammer. I helped on the feet ,nose, and toes.

Krysta-- I made the hair . The monster parts were assignments and everybody got a different part. I wanted to do it again next year but I won't be here next year. I liked the project.

Brittany B -- This is my first time ever making a monster project. I did the lips. We made a cool monster. I want to name it John. There are 99 spikes on the body. I had fun making it because it is a cool monster.

Lori -- I help put on the knees . I helped put on with the ears . I helped on making the spider. I had fun. I like it. It is cool when we got done with it. I named it Low Low.

Shelby -- I had the biggest part. I got a lot of help . I had to add slime . I had to draw tatoos . I made my yellow and black spots. I named it extreme monster. I think that is cool . The bellybutton of Kelsey's is gross. I put slime on it . This is a great monster.

Trinity -- I did the toes of the monster. I had to cut out squares and color them green. The monster has two heads, a fat stomach, a big belly button and feet with flames coming out. A friend of mine did the heads. But he had to do them all over again. He was not upset but he was disappointed. So that is the part of the monster.

Michael -- When I was doing my work I just had fun. When I was cutting and coloring, too I wished we could do it again but we have to wait. Because we don't make a monster until next year. But we still got to make a name. I want the monster's name to be Jagged Edge.

Brittany R -- I made the eyes. They're not perfect but they're good. The eyes are red with a silver pupil. The silver pupils kind of popped up. I added worm eyelashes. I want to name the monster Harry man letef.

Cody -- I made the legs of our monster. I made 10 zigzag legs. It took a long time to make. The monster has 2 heads with foil nose hair drippings. It has a tattooed body. I want to name it Jagged Edge.

Niga -- I did the feet and it was a lot of work . My monster's name is Lasha and it is the best name of all the monsters .

Russell --This is the first time I ever made a monster. It is bigger then I thought it was. I want to do this next year. The legs, elbows, nose hair, hand, arms, feet, spikes, body, toes, knees, and lips are really cool. We should name our monster Mr. pimppen.

Denise -- I had a lot of fun doing our monster. I did the arms of the monster. Marissia helped me. I did the spots and she did the spikes. After I did that, I also did the ears. Marissia and I did that too. We did 4 of them. I think our monsters name should be named (Mr./Mrs.) Dirtyllo.

Samantha -- Today me and my class made a monster. My part was to make the teeth. We are done with it and now we have to put it together if it looks right. After we have to write a paper and write what we did. But I think I should name the monster. Its name is Jake.

Renaye -- I have the hands. My hands were supposed to be scary, chubby, furry, sticky and slimy, useful, ugly, muddy, boney, gluey and nasty. My part is from 5th grade. Cambridge Bilingual School in Taiwan. The first thing I colored the hands and cut them out. I colored them I followed the directions on my paper I had a little help then I got done.

The students worked in pairs to illustrate each page. The big book is in the Just Published tub in the reading center for the students to enjoy.
